This policy sets out what EndExpiry may not be used for. It applies to every business that uses EndExpiry and everyone who logs in, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Do not
- Break the law with EndExpiry, or use it to help anyone else do so, including laws on privacy, workplace surveillance, consumer protection and food safety.
- Get into what is not yours: use someone else's account, share your password, or try to see, change or delete another business's or another person's information.
- Get around the check-in: pretend to be at a store you are not at, for example by faking your device's location or using a copy of a store's QR code somewhere else.
- Record false information on purpose, such as stock that is not there, false expiry dates or false prices.
- Test or attack our security without our written permission, including scanning for weaknesses, overloading the Service, or trying to get around its protections. If you find a security problem, please report it as our Security page explains.
- Copy the Service or its data in bulk, for example with automated tools, or use the shared product catalogue to build a competing product database.
- Upload anything harmful, such as malware, or content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights, including in product details, problem reports and screenshots.
- Put personal or sensitive information where it does not belong, such as personal details in product names, or health information in a problem report or screenshot.
- Use EndExpiry to watch people for anything other than running the stock in your stores, or in a way that is not allowed by law or by your workplace's rules.
- Resell or rent out EndExpiry, or let anyone outside your business use it, unless we have agreed in writing.
If this policy is broken
We may remove content that breaks this policy, and may suspend or end access as our Terms of Service allow. Where we can, we will tell the business concerned first and give it a chance to fix the problem.
